Jacob Brostrop, an artist from Denmark is well known by his original hybrid artworks where the objects or organic and domestic worlds are blurred together in a unique way. Each masterpiece still has an incredible number of realistic details that pattern armchairs and provide moss its fuzzy texture.

Brostrup refers his artistic method “a sampling of snapshots, of hidden glimpse(s) of the past, of other cultures, of the movement of everyday life… There are layers upon layers; a fusion of sensory impressions.” He starts to work with pencil sketch on canvas and than covers backdrops of cloudy skies and tiled floors with ornate molding and tree blossoms.
